A strong and sharp monocrystalline aluminum oxide grain makes the wheel ideal for medium to heavy stock removal on a wide range of metals. This wheel uses a versatile vitrified bond, requires minimal dressing and grinds cool and fast. These features combine to make the wheel ideal for use on tool steels with moderate to heavy feed rates, including vanadium alloy steels.
