An example of their efforts to create more environmentally friendly tools are their coolant-fed drills and taps designed to perform with MQL (Minimum Quantity Lubrication). This design reduces coolant waste from gallons to ounces. Additionally, as of 2009, their four largest factories recycle 99.9% of all materials and liquids used in manufacturing.
