The EXOPRO® XPF & S-XPF represent a new evolution in forming tap technology. These form taps generate up to 50% less torque versus other forming taps, making it feasible to tap materials up to 40 HRC and sizes up to or exceeding 1" in diameter.

Application:Aluminum Alloy, Cast Aluminum, Carbon Steels, Alloy Steel, Die Steel, Stainless Steel, Hardened Steel < 40 HRC.Higher performance with XPF is achieved when running at higher SFM.Forming is possible in Nickel Alloys such as Inconel 718 for thread sizes under 1/4".
